Socopaca — an alpaca heading a football

Why It Works

A clean sheet, every application.

An alpaca's three-chambered stomach does most of the hard work before the manure ever reaches your garden — which is why ours behaves nothing like the stuff from bigger, messier livestock.

Nil-Nil
Weed seeds — alpacas digest thoroughly, so nothing sprouts where it shouldn't.
Warmed Up
Ready to use straight from the bag. No composting, no waiting on the bench.
All Rounder
Low odour and gentle enough to use on indoor and outdoor plants any season.
High in Nitrogen (N) High in Phosphorus (P) High in Potassium (K)

Match Instructions

How to play it.

Two ways onto the pitch — pick whichever suits your garden's formation.

Method One

Straight onto the pitch

  1. Spread the manure directly onto beds, borders or containers.
  2. Dig it in, water it in, or simply leave it for the rain to do the rest.
  3. No composting or resting period needed — it's ready to play from the first whistle.

Method Two

Extra-time tea

  1. Mix roughly one cup of manure with two cups of water.
  2. Let it stand for 24 hours to brew into a liquid feed.
  3. Strain if you like, then water straight onto plants for a fast half-time boost.

FAQ

Pre-match questions.

Will it smell like a changing room? +

No. Alpacas' efficient digestion means the manure has very little odour — nothing like manure from cows, horses or sheep.

Is it safe for pets and kids? +

It's a natural, low-odour manure with no chemical additives, but as with any garden product, keep it out of reach of pets and small children until it's worked into the soil.

Can I use it on indoor plants? +

Yes — it's gentle enough for houseplants as well as outdoor beds, borders and containers, and can be used at any time of year.

Do I need to compost it first? +

No composting required. It can go straight onto the garden and be dug in, watered in, or left for the rain.

Where do you deliver? +

We post every bag from our paddocks in Thundersley, Essex. Postage is £3.95 per bag and gets added automatically at checkout.
